(* not currently available on site) to download the Oracle export file (~ 201MB - exported using Oracle 8.0.5 on Windows NT) that contains 162,512 business points in NYC, 75,343 bank branch locations in the U.S., and 1,109,620 insurance poliyholders in the U.S. (the export file includes the tables' associated SC tables (_SDODIM, _SDOGEOM, _SDOINDEX, _SDOLAYER)

Install MapInfo Oracle7 Intersolv ODBC Driver - and use it (* don't use the Oracle8 Driver that comes with MapInfo)
look at and edit finserv.ini to customize (it will also show you the other MapInfo data products you need to run the demo)
